A successful candidate for the IS Information/Technical Analyst III, IV, or V positions must be able to work independently with customers and technical staff, and also plan and lead projects. The ability and desire to acquire new technology skills is integral to the position as the City learns more about Infor and how best to leverage its capabilities to best meet our needs.

The specific competencies required for these positions are:

Work experience in systems analysis and design Budget, finance, procurement, human resources and/or payroll business knowledge is preferable Oracle and/or MS SQL Server and/or AIX Unix knowledge is preferable Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work independently and analyze difficult problems utilizing past experience, research and best practice information Ability to set priorities based on limited resources and competing demands Ability to lead multiple projects at the same time and multiple phased projects Ability to research and articulate feasibility and cost-benefit studies Ability to research and recommend procedural policies and guidelines Ability to understand and ensure the proper configuration and security of applications Ability to function as a lead and exercise technical supervision Ability to effectively organize, facilitate and lead meetings and all aspects of a project
Salary: $54,588.82 – 92,807.00 Annually

(DOQ fir II, IV, or V level)

Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Computer Technology, or a related field and two years of work experience related to the vacancy or a vacancy-related technical school certificate and four years of work experience related to the vacancy.
